Thanks for stopping in!
Welcome to the first “honey-do-list” blog post!
What is a honey-do-list? You know that ever-growing list of projects or tasks that you have for your spouse, or your sweetheart has for you to do around the house? That, my friend, is what we are talking about.
We have decided to do this series to not only tackle our list, but to hopefully help you with yours, or at the very least give you some inspiration!
Each month (for how ever long Jeremy agrees to continue- yippee!), I will post at the beginning of the month what the project is that we will be tackling. Then, at the end of the month we will post a video of the process, a list of materials, a rough price list for the materials and the tools that were used.
So! What’s #1 on our list right now?! A double-bed sized bed frame! As we get ready to welcome a new babe into our house in the next couple of months, it’s time to transition our guy out of his crib. We’ve decided on making him a double-sized bed instead of an actual toddler-sized bed and the reason for that is because our crib mattress will be remaining in the crib, so we may as well go a little bigger!
Jeremy will be coming up with the design, but a few key things that I would like to see in this bed frame are:
-a low to the ground frame for easy access
-a detachable bed rail
-a simple, yet rustic look
Eee! I can’t wait! Check back at the end of the month to see what he comes up with!
